Natural Capital - Let’s talk business!
23-24 November 2016 | The Hague (NL)
Gain inspiration and hands-on experience during Let’s Talk Business, the Natural Capital Conference to be held at the Fokker Terminal in The Hague from 23 to 24 November 2016. For and by entrepreneurs.
The event is entirely devoted to practical issues, enabling you to gain inspiration and benefit from practical advice. Meet other front runners; people who, like you, introduce change at large and small organisations, in the Netherlands and elsewhere. Share your knowledge and learn from the experiences and business cases of others. And then put everything into practice. Immediately.
The conference is subtitled Let’s talk business! for a reason. In our plenary sessions, visionaries like Sarah Cornell (Research Coordinator Planetary Boundaries), Mark Gough (Executive Director Natural Capital Coalition) and Peter Bakker (President WBCSD) will deliver inspiring keynote speeches. How to change business on a big scale is presented by Chad Holliday (Shell and former chairman of WBCSD ) and European Commissioner Karmenu Vella reveals the European policy perspective on the sustainable use of Natural Capital.
A broad selection of breakout sessions will involve you more thoroughly in three themes: Knowledge & Tools, Innovation and Financing & Investing. Finding innovative ways of integrating green concerns into agricultural and infrastructural land use, embedding circular economy considerations in investment decisions and discovering big sustainable investment opportunities are among the topics tackled. These expert sessions are submitted and led by leading organizations such as Arcadis, EY, Otto Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Royal DSM, Nestlé and the Plastic Soup Foundation. All breakout sessions will take place on Thursday November 24, 2016.
Free entry for all conference participants
A complete and inspiring programme, with internationally famous keynote speakers and about fifty entrepreneurs who will share their experiences with you during breakout sessions. Of course, such a valuable programme comes at a price, which you could see from for instance the participant’s fee. We have good news for you. Thanks to extra funding and our sponsors, we can now offer the entry tickets to the conference for free. Be quick because gone = gone.
By popular request: a more compact programme
Entrepreneurs wish to spend their time efficiently. Various participants have therefore requested us to integrate the programme for Friday morning into Thursday’s programme. We will be happy to fulfil this request. In the next few days, the revised programme will appear on the website. This means that you can travel back as early as Thursday evening or Friday morning and set to work with your new knowledge and inspiration.
Participants who have already registered will receive a personal message about this.
